No Promises Classic Rock Band (inspired by the music of The Who, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and The Rolling Stones to name a few) has been rocking local NJ venues for the past few years. Alan Petitt (Band Manager/Rhythm Guitar) became involved in music production and guitar at an early age, and over the past 7 years participated in Classic Rock bands and professional lessons at Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park, NJ. Doug Bode (Lead Guitar/Vocals) is back pursuing his passion of making music after a 33 year detour as a dentist. He credits his early love of music to his Grandma who inspired him to play piano, and he later switched to guitar in his first rock band in High School. Chris (Drums/Vocals) has had drumming in his blood since an early age with influences rooted in Classic Rock and Blues. His passion has provided him opportunities to play with many fine local musicians. Today he can be seen keeping the backbeat and singing a few rocking tunes with No Promises. Ray Leffler (Keyboards) began playing drums and guitar in his early days (even winning a local Battle of the Bands competition) and recently joined as the band’s keyboard player.  MaryAnn Partnow (Vocals) is a published singer/songwriter and is set to release her first album this year. She was chosen to participate in the 2020 Billboard Music Awards Virtual Choir accompanying Kelly Clarkson. After exploring various avenues of music on her own since childhood, she is enjoying the excitement and energy of playing in a live band.
