About Us

No Promises Classic Rock Band (inspired by the music of The Who, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and The Rolling Stones to name a few) has been rocking local NJ venues for the past few years. 

Alan Petitt (Band Manager/Rhythm Guitar) became involved in music production and guitar at an early age, and over the past 7 years participated in Classic Rock bands and professional lessons at Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park, NJ. 

Doug Bode (Lead Guitar/Vocals) is back pursuing his passion of making music after a 33-year detour as a dentist. He credits his early love of music to his grandma who inspired him to play piano, and he later switched to guitar in his first rock band. 

Scott Landrieu (Keyboards) began playing keyboards and guitar in his early days (even winning a local Battle of the Bands competition) and recently joined as the band’s keyboard player.   

Bill started playing the accordion at 8 years old, then switched to guitar as a teenager when he discovered rock and roll, and briefly played rhythm guitar in a band. While forming a family band with his brothers-in-law over 15 years ago they needed a bassist, so Bill volunteered. Bill is a lifelong music lover, and now loves to anchor the rhythm section with the drummer!
